Xbox has revealed the games coming to Xbox Game Pass as part of the June 2023 lineup, and Wave 2 is looking pretty impressive. Whether you're into dystopian Metroidvanias, anime-inspired racers, or laid-back farming sims, you're bound to find something to check out on the service this month.
Per an official Xbox announcement, seven more games are winding their way to Xbox Game Pass before June is over. As ever, some of these games will be playable via cloud gaming, while you'll need to download others before you can check them out.
First up, on June 22nd, Need for Speed Unbound is heading to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud. Our very own Alex Santa Maria wasn't too impressed with this one, but your mileage might vary. Also coming on June 22nd for consoles and PC is The Bookwalker, a narrative adventure in which you must dive into the stories of books in order to recover your ability to write.
Two more games are hitting Xbox Game Pass on June 27th. Bramble: The Mountain King is a dark adventure game inspired by Norse fables, and it's hitting consoles, PC, and cloud. F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is an anthropomorphic Metroidvania full of tough-talking animals and dystopian landscapes, and that's hitting PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud.
On June 29th, you'll get to enjoy Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, a laid-back farming RPG that's part of the Story of Seasons (formerly Harvest Moon) franchise. It's coming to consoles and PC. July 3rd sees the arrives of 90s retro adventure Arcade Paradise, and July 5th brings Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, an action RPG with a classical Chinese aesthetic. Both are coming to PC and Xbox consoles.
