Xbox has announced that they will be partnering with several women's sports teams such as the NY Liberty, Atlanta Dream, England Senior Women’s Football Team, and France Senior Women’s Football Team as well as Women gamers and tech moguls to uplift and inspire the younger generation to dream bigger dreams and reach their goals in life.
They are calling the campaign Power her Dreams, which was inspired by a very brave set of women who describe their dreams, failures, successes, struggles, and strengths. This campaign will only be around for a limited time, but here is how it works. Xbox asks the fans of both basketball and video games to head on over to their official website for the campaign, where they will submit one of their dreams and how they believe they will achieve said dream. Those who submit their dream will then choose which of the two non-profits they want Xbox to donate to.
The two charities to choose from are the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation which strives to create a positive environment and leave a long-lasting impact on underserved athletes as well as girls and boys sports teams. The next charity is called Girls Who Code, which is an international non-profit that aims to close the gender gap within the technological industry. The goal of both charities is to inspire as many young women as possible to follow their dreams regardless of their gender identity, and to never let anyone stop them from achieving their goals.
For every dream that is submitted through the Power her Dreams campaign website from July 20, 2022, until September 30, 2022, Xbox will donate $10 to the chosen charity, with a maximum donation total amount of $50,000 per charity organization. The overall goal is to show everyone that achieving dreams that you never thought possible IS possible. Whether you want to be the next big streamer or an Olympic gold medalist, it's completely possible as long as you put your mind to it and continue to believe in yourself.
