Today Blizzard Entertainment announced the release date of the Warcraft mobile game Warcraft Rumble.

The game will release on November 3 for iOS and Android, which means that it'll go live on the first day of BlizzCon. Of course, we can likely expect many "Do you guys not have phones" memes. The community doesn't forget.

The gameplay focuses on tactical battles among miniature versions of famous heroes from the Warcraft universe. These include Jaina Proudmoore, Grommash Hellscream, Hogger, and more.

The game includes a "massive" single-player campaign made of missions that are basically "Bite-sized strategic puzzles." Other gameplay modes include PvP, dungeons, and more.

The press release included a comment from executive producer Vik Seraf.

Warcraft Rumble is a joyful (and mobile!) expression of the greatest hits of Azeroth, lovingly crafted by a team with deep roots in the Warcraft universe

Thanks to the support of players who participated in our closed beta, our ongoing regional soft launch has been invigorating, and now it’s time to let the rest of the world join in the fun. We can’t wait to get Warcraft Rumble into players’ hands worldwide on November 3.

We’re confident that whether you’re new to the Warcraft universe or a long-time veteran, you’ll find the perfect army to unleash your personal brand of joyful chaos!

Pre-registration is already available and players who complete the tutorial within two weeks from launch will receive a set of four mecha-themed in-game items.

World of Warcraft players will also find Warcraft Rumble arcade machines in the taverns of the four major Dragonflight zones, on top of Valdrakken, Orgrimmar, and Stormwind.

There they'll be able to use Rumble Coins and Rumble Foils to unlock and customize seven collectible miniatures from the mobile game.

Below you can check out a trailer and an additional video focusing on gameplay.

In other Warcraft news, we recently learned that veteran Chris Metzen is now Executive Creative Director of the Warcraft universe and will oversee "the next generation of adventures."
