War Child UK will return today with RE-PLAY, a fundraising campaign that asks for everyone to recall their childhood memories of jumping into classic video-games while supporting children who are living in war zones.

Launching today and running until April 16 is the RE-PLAY Steam sale, which features games such as Dead Cells (-20% discount, 20% donation), Psychonauts (-20% discount, 20% donation), Broken Age (-50% discount, 60% donation), Costume Quest (-50% discount, 60% donation), A Short Hike (-20% discount, 30% donation), Rivals of Aether + all DLC (-50% discount, 15% donation), Wargroove (-30% discount, 25% donation), Timespinner (-30% discount, 25% donation), Bubbles the Cat (-50% discount, 100% donation), GoNNER (-50% discount, 50% donation), and Eagle Island (-20% discount, 20% donation).

War Child UK does its utmost to support children whose lives are torn apart by war. With COVID-19 that makes their job much harder to accomplish, as it is causing devastation in communities who are recovering from war. These refugee camps already include poor health care and cramped conditions, so introducing a nasty virus into the mix where a lockdown is required can mean the difference of life and death for families that don't have a financial safety net. War Child is doing their best to help families in need across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, but they need help.

The gaming community has already brought in $4.3 million, and RE-PLAY 2020 "aims to increase the amount of engagement and funds generated via retro-inspired gaming." War Child will host daily fundraising livestreams to do so, starting with the games that are available in the Steam sale. This will take place at 2 PM - 4 PM BST until 15 April. There will also be prizes awarded to streams who raise the most funds. If you want to get involved, be sure to go here. If you want to check out the Steam sale, go here.
