Third-party developers released a few new add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator today, including a rather... odd one.
Captainsim has released a... TIE Fighter from Star Wars. No. I'm not joking and this isn't an April Fools' prank a few days too late. This kind of add-on isn't all that rare for Microsoft Flight Simulator, albeit most of the time it's freeware. After all, Microsoft itself released the Pelican from Halo a while ago.
This one is available on the developer's own store priced at $19.99, but at the moment of this writing, it's discounted to $14.99. According to the developer, it has been released to celebrate the anniversary of the first human space flight.
While at the moment it's available only for PC on Captainsim's store, this developer usually releases its add-ons on the official marketplace as well, also supporting Xbox, so it's not unlikely that the TIE Fighter will go the same route down the line.

Next, AC Scenery released a Prague Cityscape add-on, adding plenty of custom-made buildings for the capital city of the Czech Republic. It's available on Simmarket for $13.10 plus applicable VAT, currently discounted at $11.79, coming with the following features.
- Over 100 custom hand built buildings
- Night textures
- PBR textures
- Compatible with ORBX Prague Airport
- Compatible with TrailStrike Prague Airport
Another scenery release comes from FSX3D, which launched Sisteron-Vaumeilh Airfield (LFNS) in France. This small but scenic airport is available on Simmarket for $10.90 plus applicable VAT with the following features.
- Very high quality 3D models with very good optimization
- Perfectly integrated satellite photo ground
- all models feature PBR layers
- Taxiways and custom runway conform to reality
Last but not least, SoFly announced Aircraft Checklist Pro, which gives you access to non-interactive checklists similar in structure to those used by actual pilots. You can consult them directly in the simulator, or print the PDF versions to have them on paper.
