Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown

Nacon and KT Racing have revealed the first actual gameplay of their upcoming open-world racing game Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown.

According to the video, this is footage from the alpha version of the game, starting at the "Solar Hotel" which is our starting hub. Incidentally, you can progress in the game to get a bigger room. We also see the lobby and the ability to create a group with other players.

We jump straight into multiplayer driving on the highways and streets of Hong Kong, followed by a visit to a club where you can dance and socialize with other players. Speaking of socializing, we also take a look a club's headquarters which includes a bar, a pool, and a VIP area.

More footage showcases multiplayer racing, finally moving on to daytime, before we move out to the conclusion in which we get the reveal of a further delay. Now the game is coming in early 2024. The game was already previously delayed to late 2023.

You can watch the video below, keeping in mind that this is alpha gameplay, so it doesn't represent the final product. You can also check out a previous article with a few more details and screenshots

Incidentally, the developers mentioned that a beta is coming soon, and you can register for the newsletter on the official site to have a chance of being selected.

Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown was announced back in 2020 and is slated for an early 2024 release for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
