Just before the start of Tokyo Game Show, Bandai Namco announced that its anime-style mecha game Synduality: Echo of Ada has been deleted beyond 2023.
According to the message shared by Bandai Namco, the developers are working hard on developing the game, but they have decided to take some more time in order to meet the players' expectations
We also hear that Bandai Namco is looking into opportunities for players around the world to try the game out
While we don't get a new release window, we do get a gameplay teaser providing a look at the game in action. It's brief, but certainly better than nothing.
You can check out the new trailer below.
We already know that Synduality: Echo of Ada will come for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Despite the delay, Bandai Namco still had a demo for me to play just yesterday during a pre-Tokyo Game Show event at its HQ in Tokyo, so you can read my hands-on preview with plenty more details on the game.
Ultimately, it's another interesting step in the develper's mission to create anime-style new IPs, and I certainly approve of that effort.
Of course, we'll have to wait and see whether Synduality joins the team of successful attempts alongside titles like Code Vein and Scarlet Nexus.
Speaking of anime, the franchise is mixed-media in its nature, so an anime series has already been released and it's available on Disney+.
