A Super Smash Bros. x Tekken crossover has been revealed during the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct — Kazuya Mishima will be the next new character coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
The E3 2021 Nintendo Direct opened with some intense combat featuring Kazuya Mishima. It wasn't long before it was revealed that this iconic Tekken character is making its way to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Check out "The Iron Fist of Darkness" trailer!
Kazuya Mishima is one of the key characters in the Tekken franchise. The son of Mishima Zaibatsu head Heihachi Mishima, he's proven to be a fierce fighter in The King of Iron Fist tournament.
Now, he'll soon be fighting a somewhat more unusual battle than he's used to by debuting in Smash! It also appears that Heihachi may also feature in the game somehow as part of the Super Smash Bros. x Tekken crossover, either as an NPC or as an alternate costume for Kazuya.
When is the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Kazuya Mishima Release Date?
Unfortunately, a specific Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Kazuya Mishimi release date has not been announced. That said, I don't imagine we'll be waiting very long to play as this new character.
More details about the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Kazuya Mishima character will be revealed in a "Mr. Sakurai Presents" stream on June 28, 2021, at 10:00 AM Eastern. Of course, you'll need the game to play it — you can buy Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Amazon for just under $50 or you can opt to buy it digitally on the Nintendo eShop at its full price of $59.99.
