While Stardew Valley is still going strong, developer Eric Barone (better known as ConcernedApe) isn't resting on laurels and is currently working on Haunted Chocolatier.
Today he shared four new screenshots on X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate one million followers.
We start with what appears to be the interior of a nicely decorated and rather cozy-looking house.
Next is a look at a plaza with a fountain decorated by sirens in what appears to be the evening, providing a glimpse of the lighting.
We then get to see another interior shot, and if you glimpse, you'll notice it's a combat scene. The protagonist is attacking a monster with bow and arrow, and you can even see the aiming crosshair.
Lastly, the following image showcases an arcane library full of books up to the ceiling.
Haunted Chocolatier was revealed in 2021 and it's being developed as a solo project by ConcernedApe. At the moment it doesn't have a release window and the only confirmed platform is PC.
While he's working on Haunted Chocolatier, Stardew Valley is still in active development, and recently Barone teased a list of features coming in the next 1.6 update.
These will include a new major festivals, two mini festivals, new late-game content expanding on each skill area, new items and crafting recipes, Joja alternatives to some of the end-game quests, 100+ new lines of dialogue, winter outfits for the villagers, and a new type of reward for completing billboard requests.
PC will also get support for 8-player multiplayer, while all platforms will receive a new farm type, new secrets, and more small addition and adjustments.
