Almighty: Kill Your Gods reveal cover

Some games have you bow to the gods. Some games have you play as the gods. Other games, however, are more like Almighty: Kill Your Gods, and that tells you a lot about it right from its name.

Check out the epic Almighty: Kill Your Gods Reveal Trailer to see all of the awesome action that's on the way!

In this new game from RUNWILD and Versus Evil, you take on the role of an Alpha, a magical warrior infused with the power of its ancestors. The old gods have been nothing but a massive pain in the ass and everyone is, quite frankly, fed up with them. That's why you and your friends are going to kill them, Klingon-style.

You can use magical gauntlets to smack these deities around with melee or ranged attacks. Shoot 'em in the face with fireballs from a safe distance, or get up close and personal by punching them in the face with five fingers of angry deicide.

These powerful magical tools aren't just basic gameplay tools, either — there's a lot more to this game than you'd think at first glance. Players can craft a "huge array" of Gauntlets and Power Stones according to a press release, allowing for a wide variety of choices in fighting all of the Eldritch Horrors before you.

When is the Almighty: Kill Your Gods Release Date?

I'm always down to try new ARPGs or games with an awesome metal soundtrack. Almighty has both in spades! When will you be able to get this upcoming game?

This is a pretty fresh announcement, so we don't know for sure when the developers are going to launch Almighty exactly. We do know, however, that it's going to be coming to PC and consoles sometime in Fall 2020.

If this heavy-metal ARPG seems like your kind of jam, you should go ahead and add Almighty: Kill Your Gods to your wishlist on Steam.
