Multiplayer online fantasy action game Six Temples is getting a private beta. The beta will begin on October 25th and signups have already begun. Don't worry - there's still plenty of time to sign up if you want to give this one a try.
In a press release, developer Camel Cup Graphics revealed a little of what you can expect if you get a spot in the private beta. You'll have access to three heroes: the Barbarian, the Wizard, and the Mercenary. There's one full-sized map, Acropolis, to try out, as well as a training mode that takes place in the floating Lookout arena map. Gameplay-wise, you're getting the full Six Temples experience: three teams of 12 duking it out in melee and physics-based combat. Check out the trailer below:
The Steam page for Six Temples describes it as a multiplayer action game revolving around "large-scale territory control". The title refers to six temples hidden across the map which your team must capture. To do so, you'll play as one of several heroes including the aforementioned Barbarian, Mercenary, or Wizard. As you play, you'll also discover Temples, Shrines, and magical Artifacts which will expand your team's territory if you manage to capture them. Maps are procedurally generated, meaning you'll never quite get the same arrangement twice.
Six Temples launches for PC via Steam in Spring next year. Until then, you can head over to the game's official website to sign up for the closed beta. These are last-minute signups, so you're not guaranteed a place. Better get your application in quickly if you want to check this one out before it lands. According to the official site, the next beta wave is in November, so you might get a shot at that one if you miss October's.
