Mimimi Games has announced that Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is getting two major paid DLC expansions.
Both expansions are coming on December 6th and will be available for both the PC and console versions of the game.
Mimimi hasn't revealed too much about exactly what we can expect from said expansions, but the studio has released this rather tantalizing teaser image.
We do know that both DLCs will, according to Mimimi, offer "several hours of fresh content".
This content will include new playable characters, new uncharted islands to explore, and new missions for the story campaign.
In addition, Mimimi has announced that both DLCs will integrate "seamlessly" into the main Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew adventure.
This means that you'll be able to use both playable characters in "almost any main game mission", although Mimimi doesn't specify which missions the new characters won't be available for.
This will, according to Mimimi, act as the studio's "very final release".
Mimimi Games announced its shutdown earlier this year, citing the "extremely taxing" process of making games, as well as costs beginning to outstrip potential revenue.
The studio also said that achieving a balance between family and work life was becoming too difficult, and that it was time to prioritize the staff's wellbeing rather than signing up to another game production cycle.
As well as Shadow Gambit, you might know Mimimi's name from the other real-time tactics games it's developed: Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun and Desperados III.
After Shadow Tactics was published by Daedalic and Desperados III was published by THQ Nordic, Mimimi went on to self-publish Shadow Gambit.
Although the two paid DLCs for the real-time tactics game will be Mimimi's last release, the studio will continue to support the game, so it'll still receive maintenance patches, even if you're not getting any new content.
