The March update for Resort Boss: Golf is here and it's a big one. The update adds a number of big features and a fair few small ones too. It's available to download now for owners of Resort Boss: Golf.
First up, the Course Builder. You can now create and customize their resort's courses, allowing you to micromanage a number of things. You'll be able to choose which holes belong to a course, give the course a name and a specific price, view the play history of the course (complete with shot visualizers), and view your golfers' overall opinion on the course. The Course Builder gives players the chance to link their holes together into a guided course for resort visitors.
Next, there's now a Golfer Creator in Resort Boss: Golf. You can now create and customize your own Resort Boss, as well as golfers and VIPs who will appear during gameplay. In addition, you can now select the boss who will own the resort the player is creating. A Terrain Generator has also been added to the game which will generate terrain (amazingly) according to the player's specifications. For example, choosing Rolling Hills will create smooth height variations, while choosing Thousand Lakes will dot little lakes around the resort map.
These are the major additions, but there are also a number of quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes and smaller features in the Resort Boss: Golf March update. These include new themed tilesets for players to choose when creating a resort, new hole building tools, and an expanded hole information panel. Bug fixes are too numerous to list, but if you want to see a full list of the changes and additions to Resort Boss: Golf you can do so here.
Resort Boss: Golf was originally released via Steam Early Access back in February. Excalibur Games and Gus Martin are promising much more to come from Resort Boss: Golf's Early Access stage. Players can look forward to tournaments, wildlife, challenge scenarios, and more features in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned for more info.
