The Rebel Inc: Escalation Campaign Update has arrived! This new batch of content for this intriguing strategy game gives players even more options for fighting back against the bad guys.

If you're unfamiliar with Rebel Inc: Escalation, it's made by the same folks who created Plague Inc. It shares some similarities, but the thing which spreads around the world is a sense of rebellion rather than a disease. A war has been brought to an end, but there are still insurgents who would very much like to topple your government.

Now, some new content has arrived which radically changes the gameplay in a new campaign mode — let's check it out!

What's New in the Rebel Inc: Escalation Campaign Update?

Naturally, the main thing to highlight is the campaign itself. Players will have to watch over five regions of a country in an attempt to stabilize things and establish permanent peace. A combination of unique and procedurally-generated characteristics will ensure that the gameplay gets mixed up a bit every time.

Stabilizing a region will grant you new abilities like Sniper support, removing corruption from an area, and other things. You'll have a big challenge ahead of you, though — the insurgents will learn from your tactics and adapt to them.

Currently, the Rebel Inc: Escalation Campaign Update is only available in English. The developers are working to get other localizations added in future updates.

This isn't the end of new content, either; they state that this first run at a campaign is just the beginning for what we can expect to see from Rebel Inc: Escalation. It looks like Ndemic has big plans for the future of this game.

You can read more about these new features in the Rebel Inc: Escalation Campaign Update announcement on the Steam Community. IF you don't yet own the game, you can get it on Steam for $14.99 or your regional equivalent.
