Ubisoft is bringing Rayman back as a DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, and a release date has been announced.
The DLC is titled Rayman and the Phantom Show and it will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on August 30, priced at $14.99. It'll be the last DLC for the crossover strategy RPG that brought Ubisoft and Nintendo together for a second time after Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
This is a completely separate adventure from the main storyline, prompting players to control Rayman, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Mario. It was teased all the way back in 2022, and it's finally almost here,
You'll have to explore the Space Opera Network, a TV studio with plenty of props and easter eggs to discover. It's run by the Phantom, a villain returning from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. He has found a second calling as a studio director and needs the help of our heroes to bring the plummeting ratings of the studio back into the positive.
We also hear that s David Gasman reprises his role as Rayman, while Christophe Heral joins Grant Kirkhope have composed compose the original soundtrack of the DLC.

For those who don't know the Rayman franchise, the original game debuted all the way back in 1996 for PlayStation, Sega Saturn, PC, and Atari Jaguar and it was then ported to a variety of platforms. There have been several sequels and spin-offs, but the series has been dormant for a decade.
