Players will be able to team up with a roster of nine characters such as Mario, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, and newcomers such as Rabbid Rosalina in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, the sequel to the 2017 surprise hit Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
Gameplay will be largely similar to the first title. Players will have to find and rescue the Sparks that are found throughout the galaxy, and the character Beep-O will be a helpful guide once again. Unlike the first game, combat has been changed to be more dynamic, with less linear level designs and enemy encounters outside of turn-based combat.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will release on the Nintendo Switch in 2022.
