No More Robots is celebrating its fourth anniversary as a publisher, and founder Mike Rose took to Twitter to disclose his company's performance during the past 12 months.

On Twitter, Rose gave a general rundown of the financials and general performance of his company's 4th year. Across the company's titles, No More Robots reports over 4 million players for all games during the year; likewise, over 800 thousand units sold this year for the company. These are impressive numbers for a budding company such as No More Robots, especially during times of COVID. Even more impressive is that the publisher, while it does have games in the pipeline, didn't release a single new title this year, just ports.

Yearly revenue for Rose's company is strong, as he reports a total of $12 million in revenue for the entire year. He offered a graph showing how revenue was split between consoles, Steam, and retail. PlayStation has the largest amount of revenue with just over 25 percent of the pie, but the other platforms aren't far behind. Nintendo, Steam, and Xbox are all within two percent of each other in terms of revenue, meaning No More Robots has a solid presence on all of the major core platforms.

Retail has sold less, but that is to be expected. The company focuses more on digital releases for their products. The few exceptions are the limited physical releases such as Hypnospace Outlaw's Switch version on fangamer.

Publisher No More Robots focuses on indie games and is known for bringing titles like Hypnospace Outlaw, Descenders, and the recently announced Not Tonight 2  to both consoles and PC. Descenders is a top performer for the company, as Rose is usually quite transparent on Twitter and has spoken about its success prior.

Players can expect a lot more from the company in the future. Just two of the several games No More Robots is publishing includes Let's Build a Zoo and Fashion Police Squad (which we featured on a Screenshot Survey over a year ago). All in all, it seems the future is bright for No More Robots, with much more to come.
