Sony has released a brand new PSVR 2 unboxing video that shows exactly what you can expect in the box if you buy a unit. The video goes into detail regarding the design of the headset, how to get comfortable while playing, and "what went into the package design".

PSVR 2 is just around the corner, and with less than 2 weeks to go until launch, Sony has decided that it's time to talk specifics. In this new unboxing video, global product strategy and management exec Kei Yoneyama opens up a typical PSVR 2 box to show you the contents, including the unit itself, the controllers, and everything else you'll get. You can check the video out below. It's just as satisfying as you'd expect an unboxing video to be.

The PSVR 2 box will, of course, include the PSVR 2 headset itself, as well as two controllers (i.e. the left and right controllers, rather than two sets). As well as those, you'll also find a pair of headphones with interchangeable tips, a USB cable for charging the unit, and, of course, the instruction manual, which you should definitely read.

Yoneyama says that PSVR 2's setup will be much simpler than that of the original PSVR, so you can jump straight into the action. She gives a rundown of the headset's various controls and functions, including the new lens adjustment dial and the function button, as well as the PSVR 2 Sense controllers. Make sure to take a look at the full video if you're excited for PSVR 2 and you want to know what your unboxing experience is going to be like.

PlayStation VR 2 launches on February 22nd. It'll have a pretty big launch lineup of games, including rhythm game Beat Saber, racer Gran Turismo 7, and, of course, action-adventure flagship title Horizon Call of the Mountain, which will tell an all-new story in the world of Guerrilla's Horizon games. You can pre-order PSVR 2 here if you like what you see above.
