Lemonbomb Entertainment and rokapublish's Stranded Sails is coming to consoles this October. Merge Games is publishing the open-world adventure for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in both digital and physical forms.

Stranded Sails (full title Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands) casts players as a shipwreck victim stranded on a mysterious island. If you want to escape, you'll not only need to solve the island's many mysteries but also make a home for yourself and master the island's environments. Lemonbomb says the game is a mixture of Harvest MoonThe Legend of Zelda, and more recent games like My Time at Portia. Check out the console announcement trailer for Stranded Sails below:

Lemonbomb and rokapublish are promising an open-world adventure full of quests and things to discover in Stranded Sails. You'll have to farm ingredients and cook food to survive. Your crew is an integral part of gameplay; you'll need to feed them, expand their camp, and prove your skills as a shipbuilder. There will be a range of islands to explore, each of which contains a wealth of tools, treasure, and crafting components. Naturally, there's also a swashbuckling story involving ancient terrors and supernatural dangers. Sounds pretty exciting.

Alongside the physical and digital versions of Stranded Sails, Merge Games is also promising a collectible Signature Edition. We don't yet know what that version will contain, but it'll launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch alongside the normal game. Sorry, Xbox One owners - looks like you're out of luck here. Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands launches for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One this October. No word yet on a specific date. We're also not sure if the PC version will launch alongside consoles.
