Noble Fates, a 3D Kingdom Simulator with intelligent characters that have opinions and memories as well as the options to build, craft, farm, mine, hunt, defend, and more, has announced the next feature update for the game. This Noble Fates update will add bandits, Steam Workshop support, quests, Steam Cloud saves, on April 4th. There's a lot to go over, so let's get right into it.

What's going on in the latest Noble Fates update?

The biggest feature will be the newly introduced bandits that make their living in Noberia robbing and stealing. You'll have to keep them away from loose belongings lying around and give your visitors a safe place to sleep for the night so they aren't robbed blind. You'll have to deal with them when they appear or they'll build a sketchy building to house all their ill-gotten gains at the edge of your lands. You can either profit from their thievery or send them packing, the choice is yours.

There are also quests that you will be able to fulfill, like those pesky bandits that have been robbing people. Additionally, there are new ramshackle props that will give bandits something to work with when they build something. Also included is Steam Workshop for mods, which allows a lot of people to build many somethings that you can download and subscribe to in an easy solution. Along with Steam Workshop support, there are also Steam Cloud saves, which will allow you to continue building your kingdom on whichever PC you find yourself at.

If this Noble Fates update all sounds well and good, you can test it before it goes live via the game's Experimental Branch. Your saves will carry over to the new update, so you have no reason not to give it a try.

There are also a few newly added bug fixes and improvements:

  • Resolved the remaining crashes around conversations.
  • Fixed a bug that switched New Games to 2 days per year upon load.
  • Improved performance around debris and digging.
  • Reworked foliage propagation to fill back in more of the maps.
  • Fixed a bug that left Mortals trying to feed their dead pets.

This Noble Fates update will be available on Steam on April 4th, 2022. For more information, stay tuned to TechRaptor.
