Two classic Game Boy Zelda games have been added to Nintendo Switch Online.

The Zelda Oracle titles, which comprise Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages, are now available to check out if you're a Switch Online subscriber.

Unlike last month's Fire Emblem and May's Super Mario Advance lineup, you won't need the Expansion Pack addon for these new Zelda additions either.

Developed by Capcom subsidiary studio Flagship, the Oracle games are essentially followups to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

Basic gameplay elements are largely the same, but each game revolves around a different gimmick: changing the seasons in Oracle of Seasons and switching between time periods in Oracle of Ages.

Otherwise, you're still wandering through the overworld in order to reach a series of themed dungeons, each of which contains an item that will help you move forward. It's very much the classic Zelda formula.

The Oracle games are also known for the ability to link the two titles together (no pun intended), which will open up an additional section at either game's conclusion. It doesn't matter which one you play first, either.

In the trailer for the new additions, Nintendo suggests you "play both for the ultimate adventure", so it looks like that extra ending for playing both games has been left intact in the Nintendo Switch Online releases.

If you're not vibing with Tears of the Kingdom's adherence to Breath of the Wild's divergent style, or you're simply hankering for a classic Zelda adventure and you haven't checked the Oracle games out yet, this is the perfect chance to do so.

Nintendo Switch Online is available right now, and you can subscribe via either Nintendo Switch or your web browser.

Both Oracle games are available to download and play as part of a subscription, so check them out if you're looking for some Game Boy nostalgia.
