Nintendo has announced the dates for its upcoming inaugural Nintendo Live event. The show will take place at the Seattle Convention Center between September 1st and September 4th, and Nintendo has also revealed information regarding how you can register for the event.

According to Nintendo, registration for the event, which was originally announced last month, will take place between May 31st and June 22nd. First, you'll need to head to the official Nintendo Live website, then sign up for "an opportunity to be randomly selected to receive free tickets". It seems you won't be able to simply buy tickets in a straightforward way; you'll need to be selected to attend Nintendo Live, and tickets won't be available on the door either.

To register, you'll have to have a Nintendo Account and you'll need to be at least 18 years old. If you want to register as a group, you'll need a Nintendo Account Family group, which will ensure that you and your family can attend the event together. Attendance will be for a single day.

Splatoon 3 is one of the games you can expect to see at this year's Nintendo Live event.

If you're attending PAX West, then you can opt into a promotion via that event's official website for a chance to be selected for Nintendo Live tickets. Attending PAX West doesn't get you guaranteed entry into Nintendo Live, though; they're separate events, even though they're taking place at the same convention center.

Nintendo has also announced that two major tournament qualifiers will be held in the run-up to Nintendo Live 2023. If you're a Splatoon 3 or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe pro, you'll have the chance to prove it at qualifying events for these games. The Mario Kart 8 qualifier will be held on May 27th, while two Splatoon 3 tournaments will take place between June 3rd and 4th and between June 10th and 11th. Winners will compete at the Nintendo Live event.

Nintendo Live is set to take place between September 1st and 4th at Seattle Convention Center. Registration for tickets starts on May 31st and runs until June 22nd, so make sure to keep an eye on the official Nintendo Live website so you don't miss your chance.
