Never Give Up in Santiago, Chile is a Latin America ranking event in the Capcom Pro Tour; the second to last one, in fact, before regional finals. Not only are global points becoming a hotter commodity because of the closing deadline, regional points are too because those who can't travel outside of their country will rely on regional points to help them qualify for Capcom Cup.

In addition to the headlining game, tournaments were held for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Tekken 7, and The King of Fighters XIV. Streaming was done by F2G CL on Twitch. Brolynho takes the top spot in the Street Fighter V tournament, and with it, 160 CPT points, bumping him into the top 20 on the leaderboards. As it stands, only he and MenaRD are the sole two Latin American representatives who are within qualification range via global points. Other skilled LATAM players such as HKDash, DoomSnake, Caba, and Mono will need to rely on winning their regional finals.
