Mirrors Edge was once again shown off at e3 without giving any real substance of what we can expect of the new game. No story or new game mechanics were shown off. Instead EA chose to brag about how good the game 'will' be. "The game is going for elegant, minimalistic, and have an attitude". Mirrors Edge is once again focused on movement. Mirrors Edge (it was never actually called Mirrors Edge 2) is built off the first Mirrors Edge and will focus on experimentation and finding new ways to traverse. It is important to them that everyone who wants to play the game 'can' play it. Combat, reportedly, will have tight controls and speak to Faith Connor's power and proficiency. They are also expanding on Faith's character, mentioning there is a reason her eye is tattooed. Dice proclaimed Mirrors' Edge will create a new Faith for a new generation.
