Today third-party developer TechnoBrain released new screenshots of its work-in-progress add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Tokyo International Airport (RJTT), commonly known as Haneda Airport.
The airport has been in the works for about a year and the new images have been revealed on the developer's official site.
We get to see several aspects of the airport, which show quite a lot of progress since the last time we saw a screenshot reveal.
Specifically, we get to see the interior and jetways of Terminal 1, the airside-facing part of Terminal 3 alongside the walkways that go to the parking buildings, the ATC towers, the tower of the Weather belt Doppler radar, and some of the hangars.
As someone who travels to Haneda rather often, I can say that the details look spot-on even if the airport isn't finished just yet. It's my favorite airport, and I definitely can't wait for this rendition to be released since the one included in the base simulator is severely lacking. For the moment, a release date has not been announced.
You can take a look at all the screenshots below.
Kyoto-based developer TechnoBrain has been working on Flight Simulator add-ons for a long time. For Microsoft Flight Simulator, it created Kansai International Airport (RJBB) and Yao Airport (RJOY), likely the best Japanese airports you can find on the current market.
It's also known for the long-running ATC simulation I am an Air Traffic Controller. The latest of the series, I am an Air Traffic Controller 4 is available on Steam in English, and will get DLC dedicated to Nagoya Centrair airport this year. The Airport Hero series for consoles is also based on it.
As usual, you can keep an eye on TechRaptor for more daily Microsoft Flight Simulator news. The weekend has been quiet, which is very rare, but there are many more add-ons coming.
