Today third-party developers have released two brand new add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, focusing on two very different airports in the United States.
The largest release is certainly San Diego International Airport (KSAN), the busiest single-runway airport in the world.
It has been released by the AMSim and Beautiful Model of the World pair, and it even comes with a lite version of the nearby Halsey Field (North Island Naval Air Station).
It's now available on Orbx Direct for $18.91, including the following features.
- Based on September 2023 data
- Added Lite version of KNZY North Island Naval Air Station (Halsey Field) Airport
- Detailed Terminal area
- Animated Jetway
- Custom ground markings
- High-resolution custom ground textures, dirt, and other details
- Surrounding buildings fully modeled
- Custom animated runway guard lights
- Animated and static peoples
- Airline codes are assigned to each parking

The second, smaller airport is Provo Municipal Airport (KPVU) in Utah. While it's definitely not as big as the previous airport, it still plays host to quite a few regional flights, including to San Diego itself.
It's available on the store of its developer, VerticalSim, but it should reach other stores soon.
The price is $14.99 and it comes with the following features:
- Animated passengers with full 1:1 terminal interior
- 2023 Airport Layout
- HD texturing with full-scale PBR mapping
- 2 player spawnable hangars (w/interiors)
- Proper AI routing, vehicle pathing, and ATC network
