Last September, Microsoft announced mouse and keyboard support for the Xbox One, as well as a partnership with Razer. Now we know what games will support this feature, and what the partnership entails.

These are the first 15 titles Microsoft announced at X018 that will use mouse and keyboard support:

  • Fortnite
  • Bomber Crew
  • Warface
  • Children of Morta
  • Minion Master
  • DayZ
  • Warframe
  • Strange Brigade
  • Deep Rock Galactic
  • Warhammer: Vermitide 2
  • Moonlighter
  • Wargroove
  • Vigor
  • Warthunder
  • X-Morph: Defense
In the case of Fortnite, Epic recently released an input matchmaking update. This means that players using mouse and keyboard will be matched with other players using this same input, so they do not have an unfair advantage.

Xbox players can play Fortnite on mouse and keyboard on November 14th, 2018. Details on the other titles' dates are yet to be announced.

On the hardware side of things, Xbox One will support a standard USB mouse and keyboard. Xbox and gaming peripheral manufacturer Razer teamed up to release the world's first wireless mouse and keyboard for console.

Xbox and Razer mouses and keyboards will feature dynamic lighting for certain games. Warhammer: Vermitide 2 and X-Morph: Defense will flash according to gameplay events. For example, in Warhammer, if a teammate is down and needs a revive, your keyboard might flash red to alert you.

Stay tuned for more details from Razer on the wireless keyboard and mouse at CES 2019.
