While it'll still be a couple of months until Bioware and EA release the next entry in the Mass Effect franchise, the prominent developer has released new details on Mass Effect: Andromeda's deluxe editions, as well as new info on the game's pre-order incentives. You can check the Origin Store by going here, or you can read on to find out what you need to know. Prices are for the PC version of the game as defined by EA on their store.
If you preorder any of the versions of the game you will get the Deep Space Explorer Pack which consists of new gear to help you jumpstart your journey. You will also get a booster pack consisting of 5 50% XP Boosters for the game's co-op multiplayer feature. Preordering will also get you a skin for the Nomad, a vehicle you'll use to drive around on planets.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available in three flavors:
Just the base game with the preorder bonuses (if you decide to preorder the game, that is).
The Deluxe Edition includes all of the preorder bonuses mentioned above, as well as the Pathfinder Casual Outfit, the Scavenger Armour, the Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set consisting of 4 exclusive weapons, a pet Pyjak, the digital version of the game's soundtrack, and the Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack which will supply you with new gear and weapons you can use in the game's co-op mode.
Super Deluxe Edition($99.99): This version of the game has all of the content mentioned above, as well as 20 consecutive weeks of Multiplayer Super Deluxe Booster Packs that'll boost your progress in the multiplayer portion of the game.
From a cost/content perspective, the Deluxe Edition seems to be the way to go here. The Super Deluxe Edition only has the 20-week booster but until we know more about the multiplayer it's a hard sell. Or you can just wait for reviews, of course.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled to release in March 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
