The Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Fatesworn expansion has launched, serving as the first major expansion for a game that launched almost a decade ago.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is an updated version of Kingdoms of Amalur; it was leaked in June of last year before officially being announced a month later. Surprisingly, a Kingdoms of Amalur expansion was announced just a few weeks ago and it's already here!

What is the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Fatesworn Expansion?

The Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Fatesworn expansion adds more than 6 hours off new gameplay for players who have completed the main storyline, although that's not all that's arriving in the expansion.

Players will also get to experience the following new additions and changes according to today's announcement:

  • a new environment
  • various new quests and missions
  • new Chaos Realm dungeons all over Amalur
  • a new gameplay mechanic
  • new weapons and armor
  • new enemies
  • an increase of the level cap to 50
  • a new soundtrack by famous composer Grant Kirkhope
  • ...and much more

You can get the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Fatesworn expansion as a standalone DLC via Steam if you already own the game for $17.99 or your regional equivalent due to a launch discount. If you don't yet own the game, you can pick up Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning FATE Edition instead to get the game, its expansion, and the soundtrack at a discount.
