Indie developer and publisher Onion Games released his own RPG dungeon crawler, Dandy Dungeon - Legend of Brave Yamada -, earlier last year in November 2019. Players take the role of the Brave Yamada as he clears out dungeons, defeats monsters, and collects valuable loot along the way. The studio recently revealed the title's upcoming major update, with two iconic Japanese personnel in the gaming industry joining in to lend their expertise.
Dubbed as Dandy Dungeon II: The Phantom Bride, the update is large enough to warrant renaming the title and acting as a sequel. Not only that, but Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu and Touhou Project’s Zun also helped produce "over 130 original tracks of new music."
