THQ Nordic and Haemimont Games have revealed the Jagged Alliance 3 release window, as well as a special Tactical Edition for the game. The upcoming turn-based strategy RPG will be launching for PC via Steam sometime this summer, and the Tactical Edition will come with a whole bunch of extra goodies besides the game.
In the new Jagged Alliance 3 Tactical Edition trailer, we get a glimpse of the stuff you'll get if you pick up this special package. Goodies include an outdoor case, a "tactical belt pouch", and a soundtrack from the game, as well as a tactical belt, a branded pin, and character cards for some of the characters that appear in Jagged Alliance 3.
If you do want the Jagged Alliance 3 Tactical Edition, you'll have to act quickly once it goes on sale, because the whole package is limited to just 750 pressings worldwide. Only those with the quickest trigger fingers will be able to snap these up, so keep an eye out for future announcements regarding availability.
Jagged Alliance 3 was originally announced by THQ Nordic back in September 2021. It's a continuation of the long-running and well-loved Jagged Alliance series of turn-based tactical RPGs, and it's being worked on by original Jagged Alliance creator Ian Currie, so if you're worried about an outside studio messing up the franchise, you needn't be.
This third game takes place in the fictional nation of Grand Chien, where the president has gone missing, throwing the economy and political system into chaos. The president's family hires a group of skilled mercenaries to find their erstwhile leader and restore order and peace back to the nation. Of course, you can expect the usual mixture of turn-based tactical combat, character-building, and open-ended RPG gameplay that you've enjoyed in previous Jagged Alliance games.
