Home Sweet Home, an upcoming horror game for the PlayStation 4, will be making its way to Sony's flagship console this May according to a press release from the publisher. Heavily based on Thai horror and mythology, this spooky game will probably have players turning on all the lights on their way to bed.
Take a look at the Home Sweet Home Announcement Trailer to see what sort of scares are in store! (Obviously, this is going to be filled with spooky stuff, so it may be best not to watch it if you don't have the stomach for that sort of thing.)
In Home Sweet Home, an unfortunate man named Tim is coming to grips with the disappearance of his wife. Tim awakens to find himself in a strange house that he doesn't recognize. His luck continues to decline as he discovers that a vengeful spirit inhabits the same building and it's coming after him. What's worse, Tim has no way whatsoever to defend against this otherworldly horror. You'll be able to play this game for yourself on May 31, 2019, when it comes to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR.
Home Sweet Home will see players attempting to navigate a labyrinthine paranormal house and solve the mystery that brought him there, all the while trying to avoid being turned into mincemeat by all sorts of scary phantasms. This sort of game certainly isn't for the faint of heart!
This game originally intended to launch late last year, but it seems that it had been delayed. You can check out a demo of the game for PC over at the game's official website. While today's announcement concerns the PlayStation 4/PlayStation VR version, the game is already available for purchase on Steam for the PC at a price of $16.99 and on the Microsoft Store for the Xbox One at a price of $19.99. The PlayStation 4 version of Home Sweet Home arrives on May 31, 2019.
