Hello Engineer has released first on Google Stadia in Early Access. It's a multiplayer-building construction game set in the Hello Neighbor universe. Players will have to scavenge, craft, and overcome challenges in the sandbox world of the Golden Apple amusement park, which was originally built by Mr. Peterson himself.

Players will be able to build vehicles, drive through courses, and sometimes engage in some healthy melee combat with other vehicles, which will cause them to break apart and explode. Interestingly, player damage is indicated by the usual depleting health bars but also by text reading "Child is Missing", along with some blood-splatter effects on the screen. An adult neighbor s can sometimes ambush or grab the young characters in the game, which will result in the aforementioned missing-children flyers "swirling in the air to indicate defeat".

Interested in what I'm dishing out? Check out the trailer below:

The story of the game is that a group of kids from Raven Brooks go to an abandoned amusement park to scavenge for resources to win the State Inventors Contest. This eventually leads to them being trapped there and having to escape from the evil Neighbor by using their engineering skills. This looks like it can actually get pretty advanced, with electrical circuits and smart modules "accessible for skilled engineers to build self-driven mechanical vehicles or creatures", so you'll only be hampered by your creativity, at least if you know what you're doing.

A very unflattering picture of my tired face.
