Two more heroes have been announced for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. This brings the current total of playable heroes to 28.
First to join the roster is Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye. Barton's main contribution is his expert accuracy with a bow and arrow. He's got plenty of trick arrows and shots up his sleeve, and he's bringing them to bear on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. This version errs more towards the comic books than the movies, with Barton's signature shock of blonde hair and red shades fully on display. Naturally, Hawkeye's gameplay will be all about those arrows.
The second new hero is Kamala Khan, or Ms. Marvel to comic book fans. Khan is a teenage American Muslim from New Jersey and takes the Ms. Marvel name from Carol Danvers, who's now going by Captain Marvel. Ms. Marvel will fight enemies by enlarging her body parts, which is sure to result in some fun combination attacks with other heroes. We're not sure if more characters will be announced yet, or if any will be available via DLC for the game. We'll bring you more as we get it.
Developed by Team Ninja, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is the latest in the long-running Marvel Ultimate Alliance series. This one focuses on the rise of Thanos' Black Order. Players must team up as a wide variety of Marvel characters to prevent galactic devastation. Gameplay-wise, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 promises to continue the action RPG stylings of its predecessors. It'll feature drop-in/drop-out co-op play and will support up to 4 players on a single system or on multiple systems. New heroes announced so far include the Guardians of the Galaxy, Falcon, and Scarlet Witch, among others.
