Going Under developer Aggro Crab has parted ways with its Community Manager Luulubuu following numerous publications of harassment, scamming, and other issues dating back several years.

Luulubu is an Internet personality that is perhaps best known for running the No Context Silent Hill Twitter account. The success of that project may have been a contributing factor to netting her a job at Aggro Crab, developer of the satirical indie game Going Under. In recent days, however, a flood of allegations of various offenses have come out about her in recent days.

The starting point of this whole debacle appears to be a tweet by @lakeviewhotel that alleges Luulubuu complained about a homeless person "ghosting" her while owing her money. From there, the floodgates opened and quite a few people came out of the woodwork. Many of these allegations are collected in a Twitter thread by @Doctor_Cupcakes, but he has protected his account for the time being and it's not viewable to non-followers.

One allegation comes from John Phipps of the Super Deluxe Games Cast. In it, he claims that Lulu stole a review code from his organization and attempted to extort cash from him. Phipps further alleges that Lulu subsequently tried to turn some of his colleagues against one another via DMs.

Twitter user @Miz_Kriss claimed that Lulu harassed her via Twitter DMs due to one of @Miz_Kriss' memes going viral. @Miz_Kriss alleges that Luulubuu harassed her via DMs and signal-boosted the issue to her tens of thousands of followers, ultimately causing @Miz_Kriss to have a breakdown.

Another allegation comes from Derek Van Dyke. In a Twitter thread, he claims to know several trans women who had to fend off "unwanted advances" from Luulubuu, one of whom he says is his sister. He further claims that Lulu claimed a game code for the purpose of review without actually producing any content.

Aggro Crab and Luulubuu Part Ways Following Apology

The preceding three people making allegations about Luulubuu's behavior are only a portion of the greater issue — @Doctor_Cupcakes says that these (and the large number of others publicly posted thus far) are "only the tip of the iceberg."

"The overarching theme of the accounts I have heard is that she was allegedly taking work from online content creators, receiving payment or game codes, and then often not following through," @Doctor_Cupcakes said in a tweet. "A *bunch* of people have told me stories like that."

The furor from this wave of allegations led to Luulubuu posting an apology via a lengthy Twitlonger post which subsequently received a number of negative responses from people on the website. Lulu did not specifically address the majority of the allegations. Ultimately, Going Under's developer Aggro Crab put out an announcement that it was parting ways with Lulu.

"Hey folks. We were shocked as anyone to find out everything that has come to light this weekend and as a result, Aggro Crab and Lulu have decided to part ways," read a Twitter thread from the developer.

"The posts going around revealed a pattern of rude and manipulative behavior that has no place at our studio. The bottom line is that she has lost our trust and the trust of our community, and has shown an inability to represent Aggro Crab in a way we’re comfortable with."
