The Rocket League Haunted Hallows event will be launching tomorrow, bringing some iconic Ghostbusters items to the game. And yes, you can unlock the iconic Ecto-1 vehicle — but you're going to have to buy it.
Rocket League has now completed its transition to the Epic Games Store ecosystem. As part of this change, the game will be hosting several themed events and a new one has just arrived. Much like the previously-announced Fortnite Llama-Rama event, Haunted Hallows will allow players to unlock some pretty cool Ghostbusters gear.

What's New in the Rocket League Haunted Hallows Event?
The Rocket League Haunted Hallows event will feature a handful of items that players can unlock by completing event challenges. Unfortunately, most of the cooler items — including the iconic Ecto-1 — are going to have to be purchased at the in-game shop.

- Ghost Trap Topper – Get 20 centers or clears in online matches
- Stay Puft Topper – Get 10 saves or epic saves in online matches
- Ghostbusters Player Banner – Get 5 goals, assists, or saves in online matches
- Ecto-1 Player Banner – Get 3 assists in online matches
- Ghostbusters Avatar Border – Use the "Nice Shot!" or "Nice One!" or "Okay." quick chats in 10 online matches
- Mood Slime Boost – Gain 3 XP levels
- Ectoplasm Boost – Score 5 total goals in online matches
- Slimer Topper – Get 10 assists in online matches
- Stay Puft Wheel – Win 2 online matches in a row
- Ghostbusters Wheel – Earn 2 MVP honors in online matches

When is the Rocket League Haunted Hallows Release Date?
The Rocket League Haunted Hallows release date is October 20, 2020, starting at 12:00 PM EDT — that's tomorrow! The event will conclude on November 2, 2020, at 9:00 PM EDT.
This event will also debut two Limited Time Modes. Haunted Heatseeker will launch at the same time as the event; this game mode is standard Heatseeker gameplay in the spooky Haunted Urban Arena. The other event is Spike Rush and will take place on variant night maps. You can get in on the action by playing Rocket League for free on PC via the Epic Games Store, the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
