For June 2020 there are four games with $63.96 in value and 2200 in Gamerscore for Xbox Live Gold members to look forward to: Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, Coffee Talk, Destroy all Humans! and Sine Mora.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is perhaps the biggest game that's included, and it's available from June 1 to 30 on the Xbox One. As Shantae, players will team up with Shantae's enemy, Risky Boots, to save Sequin Land by killing monsters, beating up bosses, and removing a curse from the land.

Coffee Talk is available on the Xbox One from June 16 to July 15. It has players as a barista owner in a fantasy city where progress is based upon the beverages served to the people you talk with.

Destroy All Humans! is available from June 1 to June 15 and is available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Players will play as an alien trying to conquer Earth using a variety of enemy weaponry. The remake is due on July 28, 2020, so maybe check the original out to see what you're getting into.

Sine Mora is available for the Xbox 360. As an old school shoot 'em up, it "sets itself apart by focusing on massive destruction and time manipulation." If you like shmups, this game is pretty well regarded on Metacritic, so check it out.

Quick Take

It's really nice that Xbox and PlayStation both are still offering games as an additional part of their subscription. It's a really good idea, as there are definitely a ton of developers (as we continually see) that don't mind giving their games away if it means that they either get more attention to themselves and their brand, want customers to buy more of their games and DLC, or both. It doesn't hurt anyone and it's one of the few things that everyone is pretty OK with overall, which in the gaming industry is a rare thing indeed. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a better selection though, but since it's part of an Xbox of PlayStation online subscription I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
