Developer PanicBarn and publisher No More Robots have announced a new chapter for their Brexit sim Not Tonight. The chapter is called One Love and it'll launch on June 25th.
One Love focuses on beloved fan favorite character King's Head Dave, who's had enough of post-Brexit Britain. Dave packs up and moves to France, hoping to find true love there. Along the way, he'll work as a bouncer, mix a few cocktails, and hopefully meet the person with whom he'll spend the rest of his life. You can check out the trailer for Not Tonight: One Love right here:
Gameplay-wise, One Love will continue to use the Papers Please-style systems of the base Not Tonight game. The new chapter will contain plenty of new elements for you to experiment with, though. There's a new app, FlamR, which will connect Dave with potential romantic partners including a dog and a robot (yes, really). You'll be able to mix a wide variety of cocktails like the Snowflake, the Hard Brexit, and the Wired Russian. Nice to see PanicBarn's trademark sense of humor is still in place. Naturally, just like in Not Tonight, you can buy stuff for your flat and for Dave himself, but this time it'll help Dave look more attractive to prospective partners.
PanicBarn and No More Robots are promising around 3-4 hours for a single playthrough of Not Tonight: One Love. You'll be able to unlock multiple endings though, so there's lots of room for replay. If you're interested in One Love, you can wishlist it on Steam here. You will need the base Not Tonight game to play the new chapter. If you like Brexit satire and haven't had enough of the whole thing yet, you can grab Not Tonight on Steam here.
