We reported on the announcement of musical puzzle-platformer Figment coming to PlayStation last month, and now the game is available from the PlayStation Store for $19.99. The developer Bedtime Digital Games also announced an upcoming DLC slated for a Fall 2019 release, titled Figment: Creed Valley, which they call it an encore to Figment, picking up the story of the original game.
In Creed Valley, protagonists Dusty and Piper have restored peace in the mind, but a new threat emerges. They must travel to Creed Valley, which is where the mind's worldview and ideals come into being, in order to face their most dangerous adversary. The DLC will include many new enemies to fight, and new puzzles to solve, while also granting the player control over the mind's two fundamental states: Open Minded and Closed Minded, which will shape the environment differently, changing how it reacts to the player's actions, creating a new ground for mind-bending challenges.
The PlayStation 4 port was the most requested by fans, according to the Bedtime Digital Games CEO Klaus Pedersen: "We are incredibly excited to be able to bring Figment to the PlayStation audience. PS4 has been the platform we’ve received the most requests about, by far. So we are of course super happy to finally be able to meet this demand." The announcement doesn't mention any plans to port the game to other platforms such as the Nintendo Switch, however.
