Fallout TV Series

Following the tease earlier this week, Prime Video shared the first teaser trailer of the upcoming Fallout TV show.

We get to take a look at the first characters of the show, portrayed by Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins, and of course, we can't not have a faithful good boy with dubious eating habits.

Portrayed prominently are the vault dweller Lucy, Brotherhood of Steel squire Maximus, and a rather imposing Ghoul.

The trailer also showcases pretty much all the elements that you may expect from Fallout, including big wastelands, the iconic power armor, cities built with scrap, and more.

You can watch it below and see if it reminds you of the games. It certainly has that atmosphere.

The series will be canon within the franchise and will air on April 12, 2024, exclusively on Amazon Prime, so there are a few months left to wait. It's produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy of Westworld fame.

The show certainly comes at a good time, considering that Fallout fans haven't gotten a new game for quite a while. With Starfield just released and The Elder Scrolls VI coming next in a long while, who knows when we'll be able to play a new Fallout?

Of course, there's always the game-as-a-service Fallout 76, but live services aren't for everyone, and many fans have been pretty much starving for a proper single-player experience, and will probably have to wait much, much longer.

If you're not familiar with Fallout, it's a long-running franchise of post-apocalyptic games portraying the world after a devastating nuclear war that turned it into a wasteland. It was originally developed by Interplay and debuted in 1997, while the rights were passed on to Bethesda with Fallout 3 in 2008.
