Yesterday, the eSports team Evil Geniuses released a limited-edition plushie of their star player Dominique McLean, better known as SonicFox. This new piece of merchandise was so popular that it managed to sell out in under three hours.

SonicFox is well-known in the fighting game ring for their trademark fursuit as well as for being a proud, outspoken member of the Black LGBTQIA+ community. They've used their platform and tournament appearances to help raise money for charities and support trans rights. Announced at 3PM Eastern on their Twitter, SonicFox's official plushie is a little gremlin just under a foot tall, modeled after the fursona of the WePlay eSports Ultimate Fightling League's Mortal Kombat 11 champion, and "signed off by SonicFox to officially fuck shit up." Shortly after the reveal, Evil Geniuses themselves posted a minute-long video, which you can see below, showing the concept design for the plushie as well as photo shoots SonicFox took with their mini me.

Unfortunately, if you're looking to get a little SonicFox gremlin of your own, the plushies sold like hotcakes. Just hours after being announced, SonicFox posted that the plushies were officially sold out, adding in a follow-up tweet that it sold out in "two hours and some change." It's easy to see that they were very pleased with the release of the plushie and its reception. On Twitter, SonicFox posted pictures of themselves with the plushie in various poses, such as his cameo in the tutorial stage of Skullgirls and recreating the "Are you winning, son?" meme.

The SonicFox plushie is sold out, with no word of a restock, but you can still see its store page on the Evil Geniuses website.
