Battlestate Games has released an updated Escape from Tarkov: Arena roadmap, showing what's coming to the multiplayer shooter over the course of its next few updates.

The roadmap comes via a post on the official Arena X (formerly Twitter) account and covers the next three updates, leading up to the game's 0.2.0.0 "content patch" update. No timeframes or release windows are included.

First up, update 0.1.7.0 will bring the Last Hero game mode, as well as adjustments to cleanup crew behavior and various other gameplay balance changes.

The new Escape from Tarkov: Arena roadmap has some big features in it.

After that, you can look forward to update 0.1.8.0, which will include the ability to synchronize your Escape from Tarkov profile and your Arena profile.

This update will also bring improvements to Arena's anticheat system, as well as the implementation of a daily quest system, which should give you more of a reason to check out Arena on a daily basis.

Finally, the roadmap looks forward to update 0.2.0.0, which is a little larger than the other two updates and contains some new content for Arena

It'll add the ability to create custom presets "under certain rules", as well as a new location in which to do battle and a new asymmetrical gameplay mode which sees one team on the attack and the other on the defense. There's plenty to look forward to in the future, in other words.

If you're wondering what exactly Escape from Tarkov: Arena is, it's a "session-based" shooter that transposes the hardcore gameplay of the base Escape from Tarkov game into a more immediate and fast-paced gameplay model.

The game was originally revealed in June 2022, with more gameplay footage arriving in April last year before the shooter was finally released to the public earlier this year.

You can grab Escape from Tarkov: Arena right now via the game's official website
