Kalypso and Realmforge have announced the Dungeons 4 release date, as well as revealing the first gameplay teaser for the upcoming real-time strategy title.

Dungeons 4, which was revealed in August last year, will launch for PC and current-gen consoles on November 9th, and it'll also be hitting Xbox Game Pass for both PC and console on day one.

As with previous Dungeons games, you'll be building your very own dungeon, and you'll need to look after the needs of the creatures within the dungeon, as well as unleashing them on the surrounding lands to remind your subjects that the Absolute Evil is boss.

Of course, the people of the realm won't just sit there and let you terrorize them. Together with the Humans and Elves, the Dwarves have emerged in order to both rid the land of your foulness and to claim its riches for themselves.

According to Kalypso and Realmforge, the gameplay in Dungeons 4 will be similar to that of Dungeons 3, but "bigger, better, and with even more dynamic Evilness".

As such, you can expect more base-building goodness (or badness, as the case may be, given how evil you are), as well as plenty of heroes to fight as you try to defend your realm from the encroaching forces of good.

Lest you were worried she wouldn't make an appearance, the Dark Elf Thalya is also returning for Dungeons 4, so you'll be far from alone in your quest. In summary, if you're a fan of the Dungeons franchise, this new installment looks like it'll have everything you could want and more.

Dungeons 4 is launching for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on November 9th, and if you're a Game Pass subscriber, you can play it at no extra cost. Stay tuned for more on this and all other things Kalypso.
