Brand-new Dungeon Siege and Deus Ex GOG releases have arrived on the DRM-free retailer, rounding out the collections of two classic franchises for dedicated fans. What's more, both of these franchises are on sale with discounts as high as 85% off!

GOG is a longtime retailer of video games that don't include any digital rights management whatsoever. Their library tends to focus on older, classic titles and has the added bonus of being guaranteed to work on modern systems. Now, two great franchises have been completely released on the platform!

The Dungeon Siege Collection on GOG

For some people, Dungeon Siege was nothing more than a niche video game series that received a questionable movie adaptation featuring Jason Statham. (I liked it, despite the cheesiness.) For others, it represented one of the finers role-playing games of its day.

Dungeon Siege had some neat innovations for the time including literal mules to carry your goods as you adventure. The games also featured a robust custom map system, also a quick search shows that it might be a little difficult to find them these days.

You can get the Dungeon Siege Collection for just $2.99, 80% off its normal price of $19.99. That gives you the first three Dungeon Siege games along with the Treasures of the Sun DLC — it's definitely worth it at that price!

The New (and Old) Deus Ex GOG Releases

On the other side of the coin, the Deus Ex games are legendary for their divisiveness: most people either love them or hate them. Today's new Deus EX GOG releases feature the two most recent games in the franchise.

First up, you can grab the third core game Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut for $2.99, an 85% discount. This takes the same kind of intriguing, decision-based story that the first two games used so well and spruces it up with modern graphics. The Director's Cut is, of course, the ultimate version of this game.

There's also the less well-received Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Digital Deluxe Edition for $6.74, also at an 85% discount. This title continues the story of Adam Jensen as he continues his journey in a world that isn't appreciative of his kind. Gameplay picks up two years after the events of Human Revolution.

Aside from these two new additions, Deus Ex: GOTY Edition is available for a fantastic $0.97, 86% off of its normal price of $6.99. The less-beloved (but still pretty okay) sequel Deus Ex 2: Invisible War is also available at the same 86% discount for $0.97. That means that you can pick up all four games in the franchise for just over ten bucks. (Or, you could ignore Mankind Divided and get the first three games for under $5 instead.)

As someone who has barely touched the first Deus Ex game, it bears mentioning that modern gamers may find the controls and gameplay a bit unforgiving. You may want to be prepared to install some mods to get a smoother experience.

And that's it for the new additions! The Dungeon Siege and Deus Ex GOG debuts are also part of the Square Enix sale going on right now where you can save even more money on some classic franchises like Tomb RaiderThief, and more — go ahead and check it out!
