A new DNF Duel DLC character has been revealed, and if you weren't a fan of Brawler's burly antics, this one might be for you.
Just a week after previous DLC character Brawler's release date, Battle Mage has been unveiled as the next major DNF Duel Season Pass character.
The trailer revealing her existence is characteristically brief, just like those for Brawler and Spectre before her, but more trailers showcasing her abilities will surely be on the way soon.
As you'd probably expect from a character called Battle Mage, the new character looks like magic will be a big part of her repertoire, and she's arguably got a more upbeat design than previous DLC characters as well.
Given that DNF Duel involves Guilty Gear Strive developer Arc System Works, it probably won't come as a surprise that the new trailer is also beautifully-animated, brief as it might be.
Battle Mage is the third in a series of five DLC characters available via DNF Duel's Season Pass.
The first, Spectre, was released in July, with Brawler following earlier this month.
A release window of December has been announced for Battle Mage, but we don't know exactly when the character will arrive. We'll likely learn the definitive release date within the coming weeks.
DNF Duel is a fighting game based on the phenomenally popular Dungeon and Fighter franchise.
Its characters are reinterpretations of classes that are available in Dungeon Fighter Online, the first game in the series. Said classes' traits have been "heightened and reworked" to make them fit into a fighting game framework.
We don't yet know who the remaining two characters in the DNF Duel Season Pass will be. It's likely that the next character will be announced shortly after Battle Mage's release, so stay tuned for more info on this.
