The Prime Gaming December lineup has been revealed. It includes some steampunk sleuthing, a little dungeon-delving, and some oil-overseeing, as well as some fresh loot for Ubisoft games and a whole treasure trove of drops. Let's take a look, shall we?
Prime Gaming December - New Games
As ever, if you're a Prime Gaming subscriber, you can look forward to being able to play five new games at no additional cost this month. Here they are in all of their glory!
Close to the Sun
First-person horror adventure title Close to the Sun sees journalist Rose Archer descending into a vessel known as Helios in search of her sister. You'll solve puzzles, get chased by spooky steampunk monsters, and uncover a narrative set against the backdrop of an alternate-history tech war between Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison.
HyperDot
In HyperDot, there's only one thing to do: dodge. This minimalist arcade experience throws everything but the kitchen sink at you and asks you to stay out of its way. As you might expect, there are plenty of twists to that formula, so if you like not getting hit by geometric shapes, HyperDot is your jam.
Sigma Theory: Global Cold War
What if a single theory could potentially destroy the global economy or make you immortal? That's what Sigma Theory: Global Cold War asks you to consider. This turn-based espionage strategy-'em-up asks you to manage a nation's special agent lineup, engaging in diplomacy and furthering your own ends.
Wizard of Legend
Described by creator Contingent99 as a "no-nonsense, action-packed take on wizardry", Wizard of Legend is a fast-paced roguelike in which you play the titular wizard. You must chain spells together in creative ways to dispatch your enemies and delve further into a dungeon filled with hazards and monsters.
Turmoil
Turmoil is a tongue-in-cheek look at the oil boom circa 1899. You are an oil entrepreneur who must search for oil, create efficient distribution networks, and see off your competitors. It's a full-blooded simulation, of course, but there's plenty of sly satirical humor to be had here too.
Battlefield 3
As a fun bonus, Amazon is throwing in a copy of Battlefield 3 for Prime subscribers. It's on Origin, so you'll need to download that before you can grab it, but once you do, you'll find an accomplished first-person shooter with a solid campaign. Battlefield 3 is available right now to grab from Origin.
Prime Gaming December - Ubisoft Loot
This month, you can enjoy some extra loot for established and upcoming Ubisoft games as a Prime Gaming subscriber. Three titles are ripe for the addition of plunder, so here's what you could be enjoying in those games if you subscribe to Prime Gaming.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising
This month's content offering for Immortals: Fenyx Rising kits you out with some new equipment and a mount. The Frozen Pack contains a new helmet, a brand-new outfit, new wings, and a campaign horse for Fenyx. This content pack will drop soon, so keep an eye out for it.
Watch Dogs: Legion
Head back into London with two new outfits in Watch Dogs: Legion. The new Nerdcore and Futurist outfits will give you something brand-new to look at while you're riding double-decker buses and very deliberately not smiling at passers-by. You'll be able to grab these outfits soon.
Rainbow Six Siege
In Rainbow Six Siege, you'll be able to get access to the Thatcher Gladiator Full Operator Set, which will bring a bunch of new content to everyone's favorite support Operator. Again, this content is coming soon; there's no date on it yet, so stay tuned.
Prime Gaming December - More Loot
Lest you think that's all there is this month, think again. As ever, there's an absolute treasure trove of extra loot for lots of multiplayer games to take advantage of. Drops for League of Legends, Valorant, Black Desert Mobile, and plenty more are on their way. This loot includes outfits, extra skins, in-game currency, and other bonuses, so make sure to take a look if you're a Prime Gaming subscriber and see if there's anything there that tickles your fancy.
As ever, there's plenty on offer for you this month if you're a Prime Gaming subscriber. Remember that if you have an Amazon Prime membership, that automatically means you're signed up for Prime Gaming as well. The service used to be called Twitch Prime, so if you're wondering what happened to your subscription, don't worry - it's still there. Remember, too, that December 11th is your last chance to claim Prime Gaming titles Victor Vran, Smoke and Sacrifice, Lethis - Path of Progress, and Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan.
