If you've never played any of the Cook, Serve, Delicious! games before, they're pretty great. Players take on the role of a chef running their very own restaurant (or in the case of this latest game, a food truck). Orders come in and you'll have to assemble the ingredients and cook them before the customers get cheesed off and leave.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! can be a surprisingly intense game, especially when rush hour arrives. The third game in the franchise has been in Steam Early Access for a while now and it won't be too much longer before it launches: Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! 1.0 will arrive on PC and consoles sometime in October 2020.
What's Coming in the Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! 1.0 Update?
Let's get the bad news out of the way: we don't have a specific release date just yet. On the upside, the developer has shared a few details about what's launching with the game in a Steam Community news post.
To start, you'll be able to tackle the campaign by yourself or with a friend in drop-in, drop-out local co-op. This will be enhanced by a number of accessibility features that make it easier than ever to get to cooking!
If you haven't played it in Early Access, you might not know just how big a part your food truck will play. As you can see in the Launch Trailer, you'll be able to expand your catalog with more than two hundred different foods. You'll also be able to upgrade your truck with modules that affect the gameplay and customize its look to suit your style. These tools will be necessary to survive the brutal Iron Speedway that was recently added in Version 0.95.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! 1.0 is all set to launch in October 2020. For now, you can buy it on Steam Early Access at a 25% discount until August 17, 2020 — it might not be a bad idea to get in on this game early and save a few bucks!
