Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 4

The new season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 is just around the corner, and today Activision released two new trailers.

The first trailer is a cinematic one, focusing on the story at the center of the update and its main urban setting Vondel. The second trailer focuses on the multiplayer, providing a good look at plenty of its colorful guns on top of mentioning the free update that will come with Season 04.

Season 04  will release on June 14, so there are only a few days left to wait before you can get your hands on it.

You can enjoy the trailers below.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Warzone 2.0 is its free-to-play battle royale spin-off and it's available for the same platforms.

If you'd like to see more about Season 4, you can check out a trailer featuring the new map map named Vondel aired yesterday during the Summer Game Fest showcase.

At the moment, the future of the Call of Duty series remains uncertaindue to factors not directly related to the franchise. While we already know that a new premium game is releasing this year, the pending acquisition of Activision Blizzard could bring changes of direction. Microsoft has been striking deals with companies like Nintendo and Nvidia to get the franchise on the Switch and on Geforce Now and other cloud providers. That being said, opposition from regulators in the UK and the US are hindering the closure of the deal, despite the fact that most authorities from all over the world have already cleared it.
