Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash Kento Nanami, Mahito, and Eso

Today Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed more characters who will appear in the upcoming anime-inspired battle action game Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash.

We get the introduction of Kento Nanami, Mahito, and Eso and Kechizu, with the latter two apparently fighting as a single entity.

Considering their nature, as well as Mahito, we definitely delve into the more grotesque aspects of Jujutsu Kaisen's cast.

As usual, we get a trailer accompanying the reveal, showing off all the characters in action and their moves.

Like the previous trailers, it also provides a look of them fighting in the game's 2 vs 2 battle setup. You can watch it below.

This follows previous character reveals including  Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Ryomen SukunaMaki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki, PandaAoi Todo, Jogo, and Hanami.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash was originally revealed at Anime Expo and will be released for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The release date isn't that far, on February 2, 2024.

As you may very well imagine, the game is inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen, an anime that has been airing in several seasons since 2020. The anime itself is the adaptation of the popular manga with the same title by Gege Akutami, which has been serialized in the popular Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since 2018.

This is just the latest among Bandai Namco's long series of games inspired by anime originated on Shonen Jump. Unfortunately, they tend to be very hit and miss, so we'll have to see whether this one will be better than average when it launches in February.

Recently, Bandai Namco has also revealed Sand Land, originated by a manga by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. I's also getting a full anime series next year, which will be streamed on Disney+.
