Ten free PlayStation Play at Home games have been announced by Sony as part of a generous program to let players enjoy select games without spending a cent.

The pandemic has been a pain in the butt and Sony has made the decision to make things a little easier on us by giving away some games. A batch of four games were made available less than a year ago and there have been various other giveaways and discounts since then. However, Sony is pulling out all of the stops with a batch of ten new games for you to enjoy — and you can download every single one of them for free.

What Are the New PlayStation Play at Home Games?

The new PlayStation Play at Home games are largely filled with indie titles — with one notable exception. Here's what you'll be able to get your hands on starting next week!

Abzu

Abzu is a beautiful game that has you entering a dream world of diving. Explore an underwater adventure and discover hundreds of unique specials in this otherworldly experience!

Astro Bot Rescue Mission (PlayStation VR)

Help Astro rescue his friends in this PlayStation VR game! PS5 owners are well-familiar with Astro thanks to the inclusion of a game featuring the character on every new console, and now those of them who own a PSVR headset can explore this other game, too.

Enter the Gungeon

The Gungeon is filled with perils and a lot of heavily-armed enemies — you'll dive in, equipping yourself with the best guns you can get your hands on in a quest for its ultimate treasure!

Moss (PlayStation VR)

The young mouse Quill is anxious to explore the land outside of her home. Discover a magical Glass Relic and explore a land filled with puzzles — and peril! — in Quill's epic journey to save her uncle in VR.

Paper Beast (PlayStation VR)

Paper Beast is a wonderfully-weird game that's set in a world filled with origami animals. You can give into virtual reality and manipulate the land and animals in some interesting ways, either in the game's adventure mode or its sandbox.

Rez Infinite

Rez is rhythm and music game with a twist — rather than playing an instrument, you're flying through levels filled with enemies! Fly through the sky and blast your enemies to bits, all of which is in sync with the game's awesome soundtrack!

Subnautica

Subnautica is a survival crafting game with two distinct twists: it's almost entirely set underwater and its story actually has an ending. I loved playing this game and it's well worth every second of your time — as long as you're not afraid of the depths.

Thumper (PlayStation VR)

Take on the role of a space beetle by flying through incredibly treacherous terrain! You'll sail along in space (with some kickin' tunes in the background), ultimately confronting a massive head in what may be an unintentional homage to Star Fox.

The Witness

The Witness is a gorgeous adventure game in the style of classics like Myst, and there's plenty to explore — you can look forward to solving more than 500 puzzles in The Witness' colorful and vibrant world.

Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition

Sony has one final surprise for the new PlayStation Play at Home Games — Horizon Zero Dawn will be made available separately from the nine games listed above.

Horizon Zero Dawn has you taking on the role of Aloy, a woman living in a world overrun by animalistic machines. The future is threatened and it's up to her to navigate the land and its hazards to save the world! Unfortunately, you'll be waiting a bit to play this free game.

When Can You Get the New PlayStation Play at Home Games?

You can get all but one of the new PlayStation Play at Home games starting on March 25, 2021, at 11:00 PM EST. They will be available from that date until April 22, 2021, at 11:00 PM EST. The sole exception is Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition — that game will be available from April 19, 2021, at 11:00 PM EST until May 14, 2021, at 11:00 PM EST.

For now, you can still grab a free Ratchet & Clank game for the PS4 until March 31, 2021. You'll also be able to get a free trial of Funimation or Wakanim (depending on your region) in a new trial offer that also begins on March 25. You'll be able to find all of these games and services on offer in the PlayStation Store after the appropriate date.
